Hi Everyone!
Hi there! I’m Kreeti and I’m here to let you in on a whole new secret world you never knew about animals. I’m going to blog weekly and tell you about a new animal each time. Maybe some you never even knew about! I’m going to tell you about my interactions, feelings, and experiences with them so I hope you learn something new each week. Right. Let’s get started then, shall we?
NORTHERN CORROBOREE FROG
It’s a bit of a mouthful, isn’t it? When I was 6 years old, the first animal that I was really fascinated by was the NORTHERN CORROBOREE FROG. There are actually two species: The Northern and the Southern Corrroboree Frog. The NORTHERN CORROBOREE FROG is one of the poisonous frogs. I first saw this cute (but deadly) frog in Healsville Sanctuary. I was with my family and we were gaping and staring and marvelling at all the other animals when I suddenly pointed out, “Hey look at that! It’s a bright yellow frog!” I didn’t know much about them at the time so I just observed them but I researched them when I got back home and when I found out about their venom, I was shocked. I couldn’t believe it! How could such a cute looking, innocent, brightly coloured frog be poisonous? But appearances can be deceiving! As a matter of fact, the more brightly coloured the frog is, the more toxic it’ll probably be. I hope you learned something new today! (Or if not at least enjoyed the blog post.) I hope to see you next week! Thanks and bye!👋
I definitely learned something new today! Thanks for sharing. Keep it going, well done.

Great post! Sadly the Corroboree Frog, one of Australia’s best known frogs, is critically endangered.
